David was the former Engineering & Operations Director for Messier-Dowty’s UK, France and USA companies. He specialises in Landing Gear, Doors and Aeroengines. With more than 35 years experience in the aerospace industry, he has extensive Business Development, Corporate Strategy, Engineering Management, Programme Management and Risk Management skills developed from working with Messier-Dowty, Airbus, Boeing, Rolls Royce, APPH, and many of the major players in the Korean Aerospace Industry. At Messier-Dowty he was also a former Director of Risk Management; Vice President for Boeing & Military Programmes including the F-18, T-45, V-22, JSF/X-32 and AV-8B. In addition, as a Programme Manager he was responsible for several Programmes including Business Process Re-Engineering, Strategic Review Processes and Information Technology projects. David has held Chief Engineering; Manager for Computing and Methods and Senior Finite Element Analyst roles. While at Rolls-Royce he was a Principal & Senior Engineer – Stress. David has a Ph.D; MBA; B.Sc.(Hons) in Mathematics and an OND in Engineering.
