Andrew specialises in commercial and defence Aerospace and Marine Propulsion Systems. Formerly Rolls-Royce Senior Executive he has held several positions including: Head of Business Quality Improvement; Service Line Owner for Asset & Equipment Management Services; Programme Manager and Chief Engineer. He has a wide experience in planning, managing and finishing complex programmes of technical change and service delivery in international collaborative environments to satisfy the demands of the changing and competitive market place. This includes the design, verification and validation of gas turbine components, systems, whole engines and platform integration across a wide range of military applications from the RNs Type 22 Destroyers to the Eurofighter Typhoon and to RRs latest Trent engines for the largest civil airliners. With a record of successfully leading multi-disciplined teams and delivering objectives to meet the challenges of the business and its customers, this has been achieved through committed leadership and management of several activities. These include: advanced engineering programmes, formal business proposals, feasibility studies, several new engineering development projects, participation on formal project assessment boards, business process and supplier auditing and project leadership of single and multi-faceted customer contract support programmes; including Development, Production, NPI, CIP/Sustaining Engineering, ILS and System Safety.
